Characterizatio of each site to determine the extent of contamination by sampling and
analysis of soil.
2. Removal and di posal of all hazardous waste and contaminated soil at a permitted facility. All
excavations will be back-filled with clean soil.
At this time, the goal o the project is clean closure. However, if extensive contamination is found
during site characterization, other closure alternatives such as capping will be considered.
Closure activities will
will oversee closure a
IV.
