CAD 000626762 <br />The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the California Environmental Protection <br />Agency, Department of Toxic Substances Control (Cal -EPA) request public comments on a draft <br />proposed Closure Plan and CAL -EPA requests comments on a proposed Negative Declaration <br />for hazardous wane disposal sites at Physics International (P.I.). <br />If approved, the plan would define the steps which P.I. will complete to meet the requirements <br />to close 7 disposal sites: two burn pits; a drum burial area; two surface impoundments; and a <br />clarifier discharge area under Resource Conservation and Recovery Act; 42 U.S.C., sec. 6901 <br />et seq., 40 C.F.R., part 265, subpart G; and California Code of Regulations, Title 22, <br />Sec. 67212.
