SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS
Based on the results of the July 2005 monitoring event, AGE draws the following conclusions
' During the July 2005 ground water monitoring event, the relative ground water elevation
ranged from 7 41 feet(MW-3)to 10 18 feet(MW-5)below MSL The average ground water
' elevation was S 66 feet blow MSL, indicating a decrease of approximately 0 17 feet
compared to the April 2005 monitoring event
• Ground water was inferred to be flowing north-northwest under a significant hydraulic
' gradient of approximately 0 027 ft/ft This flow direction and gradient is similar to previous
monitoring events
' TPH-g was detected in samples MW-1, MW-2 and MW-5 at concentrations of 5,400µg11,
1,700 pg/1, and 200 pg/l, respectively The detetiion of TPH-g in MW-5 was the first
detection of hydrocarbons after almost fouro monitoring with no detections of
' hydrocarbons, therefore may be due to error in the sampling or analyzing process
• TPH-d was not detected in any of the samples analyzed
' • - BTEX compounds were detected in wells MW-1, MW-2 and MW-3 at maximum
concentrations of 39 gg/l benzene(MW-1),6 0 µg/1 toluene(MW-2),460µg/1 ethylbenzene
(MW-1), and 1,155 µg/I xylenes (MW-1) MTBE was detected in wells MW-1, MW-2 and
' MW-3 at concentrations of 59 tg/l, 3 7 Vg/l and 6 0 µg/l, respectively
Y
' 5.0. RECOMMENDATIONS
' Based upon the findings of the July 2005 monitoring event, AGE recommends
• Continuation of quarterly ground water monitoring events The fourth quarter ground water
' monitoring event was conducted In November 2005 The first quarter monitoring event is
scheduled for February 2006
I
6.0. LIMITATIONS
IOur professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by
environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities The findings were based mainly
upon analytical results provided by an independent laboratory Evaluations of the hydrogeologic
conditions at the site have been made from a limited number of available data points(I e ,monitoring
• wells and ground water samples) and subsurface conditions may vary away from these data points
I1
Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc
