Section No 4 <br /> Revision No 0 <br /> Date September 5, 1991 <br /> Page 3 of 6 <br /> 4 2 3 Quality Control Officer <br /> During the proposal stage, as the work progresses, and prior to the <br /> issuance of reports, the QCO reviews the objectives and respective scope of <br /> work for technical merit and completeness The QCO is a senior officer of <br /> the firm who acts as an advisor to the PIC The responsibilities of the QCO <br /> include developing and implementing chain-of-custody, field, and laboratory <br /> Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) programs Along with the PIC, the <br /> QCO insures that the work is completed in accordance with criteria derived <br /> from five sources The Quality Assurance Project Plan (QAPP) , MARK standard <br /> procedures, generally accepted engineering and geologic practice, standards <br /> ®� of care required in the geographic area, and the limits prescribed by the <br /> client and mutually agreed to in writing <br /> 4 2 4 Health and Safety Officer <br /> The responsibility of the HSO is to develop, implement, and enforce the <br /> Standard Safety Operating Procedures (SSOP) in compliance with applicable <br /> state and federal regulations, our corporate Safety Plan, and the client's <br /> safety policies The HSO conducts safety inspections during field operations <br /> and "tailgate" safety meetings The HSO is an officer of the firm He works <br /> closely with the company's medical group and reports directly to the <br /> Corporate Safety Officer (CSO) <br /> 4 2 5 Task Leader <br /> A Task Leader is assigned to the project based on his respective <br /> .� expertise in a given discipline or level of experience These pro_1ect <br /> 4-3 <br />
