i <br /> 4 0 HEALTH AND SAFETY TRAINING <br /> 41 Basic Training Requirements <br /> 4 11 MARK Employees <br /> Basic training for MARK employees who may be exposed to hazardous or toxic <br /> materials shall consist of the following, according to their job responsibilities <br /> ■ Successful completion of 40 hours of CERCLA/SARA Health and Safety <br /> Training pursuant to 29 CFR 1910120 (Note If the employee has not received <br /> this training prior to employment by MARK, it shall be provided as soon as <br /> practicable following the start of employment Until the training has been <br /> provided, no employee shall work in areas where he or she may be exposed to <br /> hazardous or toxic materials as defined by 29 CFR 1910 120) <br /> ■ A minimum of eight hours of training per year to refresh the employee's <br /> knowledge of the basic CERCLA/SARA 40-hour training program Employees <br /> who have not received either basic or refresher training within a period of one <br /> year prior to assignment to project work in the field will not be permitted to <br /> enter areas where they may be exposed to hazardous or toxic materials <br /> ■ All Project Managers, Project Superintendents, and Project Safety Officers, or any <br /> other person delegated on-site supervisorial health and safety responsibility, shall <br /> have successfully completed eight hours of CERCLA/SARA Supervisory Training <br /> pursuant to 29 CFR 1910120 This training shall be in addition to the basic 40 <br /> hours of CERCLA/SARA training <br />' 412 Subcontractor Personnel <br /> All subcontractor personnel involved in work with hazardous or toxic materials, or <br /> working in areas where they may be exposed to hazardous or toxic materials, shall be trained <br /> according to the requirements of 29 CFR 1910120 This requirement includes the <br /> requirements for additional training for on-site supervisory personnel <br /> 1 0 <br /> 4-1 REV 4192-EGI <br /> r Mrs <br />
