42 Other Trainor Requirements <br /> • <br /> In addition to the basic training requirements presented in Section 411, the <br /> requirements stated below shall apply to all personnel employed or present on a project site <br /> This includes all MARK and subcontractor personnel or other persons present on the site <br /> except that, at the discretion of the Project Manager or Superintendent, specific <br /> requirements may be waived in the case of visitors or other persons, such as delivery vehicle <br /> drivers not directly involved in the work, who are present on the site only for short periods, <br />' and who are unlikely to be exposed to the hazards of the work No waiver of any training <br /> requirement can be made in the case of persons who may be exposed to hazardous or toxic <br /> materials, or who must enter regulated areas as they are defined in this Plan (see Section <br /> 8 0) <br /> ■ All MARK and subcontractor employees must have access to and be familiar with <br /> this Master Health and Safety Plan and the Site-specific Health and Safety Plan <br /> ■ All personnel operating sampling, monitoring, decontamination, well <br /> development, or other job-specific equipment shall have successfully completed <br /> training in the safe operation of such equipment <br /> IN All personnel involved in a chemical treatment operation shall have been trained <br /> in the potential hazards and problems which might be encountered during the <br /> chemical treatment operation Personnel shall be properly informed on the <br /> necessary countermeasures which would be required during upset conditions <br /> ■ All personnel equipped with personal protective equipment shall be trained in its <br /> use and care and be familiar with the protection it provides and the limitations <br /> of that protection <br /> ■ All persons using Self-contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBAs) or air-purifying <br /> respirators shall be individually fitted with the equipment and be trained in its <br /> use <br /> ■ Only personnel trained to render first aid and certified in cardiopulmonary <br /> resuscitation will administer such aid and resuscitation <br /> • <br /> 4-2 REV 4192-EGI <br /> 1�,r <br />
