■ Tailgate safety meetings will be conducted according to a schedule established by <br /> • the Site-specific Health and Safety Plan For work on projects involving handling <br /> of or exposure to hazardous or toxic materials or chemicals (but excluding <br /> situations where health risks due to the exposure are minimal), tailgate safety <br /> meetings will be held at the end of each project shift and when new personnel <br /> arrive on the work site, or when specific work assignments warrant special <br /> employee safety indoctrination, re-emphasis and training Regardless of the work <br /> being undertaken, tailgate safety meetings will be held at least weekly Tailgate <br /> safety meetings will be conducted by the Project Safety Officer, a supervisor, or <br /> other qualified person <br /> ■ Notices related to health and safety (including all legally required notices or <br /> notices required by the client under the terms of the contract) shall be <br /> prominently posted in the project office or other location readily accessible to all <br /> project personnel <br /> 1 <br /> ■ All personnel involved in field activities around or in construction sites shall be trained in general construction safety standards equivalent to federal standards <br /> such as the United States Department of Interior Bureau of Reclamation <br /> "Construction Safety Standards" or "Safety Requirements for Construction" by the <br /> American National Safety Institute <br /> 4-3 REV 4/92-EGI <br />
