December 22, 1994
r 92-1177103.80
NORCAL Waste Systems, Inc.
Attention: Mr. Larry Sweetser, Director of Regulatory Affairs
Subject: REPORT - Quarterly Groundwater Monitoring - November 1994
Stockton Scavenger Association Facility
1240 Navy Drive
Stockton, California
Page 6
The analytical data suggests that groundwater quality underlying the site is relatively
unchanged as compared with the previous monitoring period. Reported concentration levels of
BTEX and TPH as diesel and gasoline in November 1994 are of the same order of magnitude
as reported in July 1994. Isoconcentration plots of these constituents for the current sampling
round, as shown in Drawing 4 through 6, indicate spatial concentration distributions similar to
the July 1994 isoconcentration plots. Concentrations of BTEX and TPH-D and TPH-G continue
to be localized in the vicinity of MW-2.
Closinjz Statement
The next sampling round is scheduled for January 1995. As discussed with Ms. Diane
Hinson (SJCHD) in September 1994, the SJCHD will evaluate the results of the January 1995
sampling round and make their recommendations to the RWQCB. We appreciate this
opportunity to serve NORCAL Waste Systems, Inc. Should you have any question regarding
the current quarterly groundwater results or evaluation, please call Mr. Robert S. Spare or the
undersigned at (510) 946-1055.
