Rally's Stockton Work Plan 2 <br /> Project No. 91349.A <br /> To meet the objective of Site Characterization, we will provide the following <br /> services: <br /> 1 ) Collect twelve soil samples <br /> An environmental specialist from YOUNGDAHL & ASSOCIATES, INC. w i I I <br /> conduct a shallow soil investigation equipped with a two-inch diameter <br /> environmental hand auger, soil core sampler and slide hammer. The soils shall <br /> be logged by a professional geologist in accordance with the Unified Soil <br /> Classification System. All soil sampling would be accomplished in accordance <br /> with YOUNGDAHL & ASSOCIATES, INC. Standard Operating Procedures using <br /> two-inch clean stainless-steel sleeves. <br /> Decontamination procedures between sample locations will include an alkanox <br /> soap and water wash followed by a deionized water rinse. All cleaning fluids <br /> and soil cuttings will be contained in 6-mil visquine and remain on site pending <br /> laboratory analysis. <br /> Samples will be collected from the following six areas: <br /> Area #1 <br /> Area #1 is located approximately 135 feet south of March Lane, <br /> along the eastern property boundary in the area of a described ten- <br /> foot wide telephone easement. A hand auger boring will be <br /> excavated to a maximum depth of five feet below ground surface. <br /> Two soil samples will be collected from the boring in an effort to <br /> provide an indication of the vertical distribution of petroleum <br /> compounds. If water is encountered, a sample will be collected <br /> from the excavation with a single-check disposable PVC bailer. <br /> Area #2 <br /> Area #2 is located approximately 20 feet north of Area #11 , along <br /> the eastern property boundary. A hand auger boring will be <br /> excavated to a maximum depth of five feet below ground surface. <br /> Two soil samples will be collected from the boring and a water <br /> sample will be collected if water is encountered. <br />
