Health & Safety Plan at Rally's Stockton page 8 <br /> will wear nitrile gloves with a disposable inner glove. <br /> Foot Protection: All field personnel will wear safety boots with steel toes. <br /> Ear Protection: Based on site noise levels, field personnel may be required to <br /> wear hearing protection devices. <br /> Eve Protection: All field personnel will wear impact-resistant safety glasses <br /> with attached side guards during sampling work. <br /> All personnel who are sampling and are likely to be exposed to contaminated <br /> soil samples must wear the above protective clothing. <br /> Gloves, Tyvek coveralls and neoprene boots will be required if soil or water is <br /> visibly contaminated, or if measurements of the soil samples are above 500 <br /> ppmv. <br /> 10.0 WORK ZONE ACCESS <br /> During drilling operations, a work zone around the immediate vicinity of the <br /> excavation will be established and roped off. Only authorized personnel will be <br /> permitted to enter this work zone. <br /> 11 .0 DECONTAMINATION PROTOCOL <br /> Decontamination of personnel and equipment will be important to ensure that <br /> contamination does not spread beyond the work zone. Vehicles should not <br /> require decontamination because the organic vapors are volatile and will <br /> evaporate. All field team members will follow these steps to decontamination: <br /> Step 1 . Remove all equipment, sample containers, and notes to <br /> the Contamination Reduction Zone. Obtain decontamination <br /> solutions and decontaminate the spades, shovels, auger <br /> flights, etc. by brushing them under a water rinse. A <br /> high-pressure steam cleaner may also be used for <br /> decontamination. Sampling tools will be cleaned <br /> in-between samples and all wastes and spent <br /> decontamination liquids will be properly contained. <br /> Step 2. Wash and Rinse Boots in the Contamination Reduction Zone <br /> and then remove outer gloves and boot covers and place <br />
