3 . Compliance with Appli able Law <br /> STTC shall conduct all activities pursuant to this <br /> Agreement in accordance with all applicable federal, state, <br /> and local laws, rules, re ulations, and orders . All sample <br /> materials collected fromOwner' s Property will be obtained, <br /> handled, transported, stored, tested, and disposed of by <br /> the STTC as required by such laws, rules, regulations, *and <br /> orders . <br /> 4 . Indemnity <br /> 4 . 1 Presence and/or Activities on Owner' s Property <br /> STTC agrees to indemnify and hold Owner harmless from loss <br /> by Owner, or by any of O ner' s employees, agents, tenants, <br /> successors, or assigns, as a result of any actual damage or <br /> injury to persons or property on or off Owners ' Property, <br /> arising directly from the presence and/or activities of the <br /> STTC, its employees, agents, contractors, or <br /> subcontractors, in connection with Owner' s Property. <br /> Furthermore, the owner s all not be responsible for any <br /> damages to the monitoring wells and or equipment while it <br /> is on the owner ' s property. <br /> 5 .
