MRP 93-806 requires monthly measurement of ground
water elevations referenced from the mean sea level and quarterly sampling for total petroleum
hydrocarbons in both diesel and gasoline ranges (TPHD/G), benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylene,
and total lead.
In reporting, the monitoring data shall be arranged in tables so that the date, constituents,
concentrations, and units are readily discernible. The monitoring report shall also include an
interpretation of results, a ground water contour map which clearly indicates the direction of ground
water flow, and isocentration maps when applicable. The MRP also requires an annual report
which summarizes the previous year's sampling, interprets the data, and recommends any future
course of action, if needed, such as identification of sources, remediation, is also required by the
MRP.
I understand that the Stockton Terminals Technical Committee has contacted you regarding
coordination of sampling events.
