CALIFORNIA REGIONAL WATER QUALITY CONTROL BOARD <br /> CENTRAL VALLEY REGION <br /> MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM NO. <br /> FOR <br /> SANTA FE PACIFIC PIPELINE PARTNERS <br /> STOCKTON TERMINAL <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> Specific sample station locations are established under direction of the <br /> Board' s staff. <br /> Prior to construction, plans and specifications for ground water monitoring C <br /> and/or extraction wells shall be submitted to Board staff for review and <br /> approval . After construction, new wells are to be sampled and analyzed for <br /> the constituents below and added to the monitoring program. <br /> GROUND WATER MONITORING (� <br /> There are five monitoring wells onsite as shown in Figure 1. Monitoring wells u� <br /> with free phase petroleum product or visible sheen shall be monitored for <br /> product thickness and depth to ground water only. The ground water monitoring <br /> program for the five monitoring wells and any additional wells installed <br /> subsequently, except for wells containing free phase petroleum product or <br /> visible sheen, shall include the following: <br /> Sampling <br /> Constituents Units Type of Sample Freauencv <br /> Depth to ground Feet ---- Quarterly <br /> water <br /> Benzene µg/l Grab Quarterly <br /> Toluene µg/1 Grab Quarterly <br /> Ethylbenzene µg/l Grab Quarterly <br /> Xylene µg/l Grab Quarterly <br /> TPH as diesel µg/l Grab Quarterly <br /> TPH as gas?line µg/l Grab Quarterly <br /> Total Lead ug/l Grab Quarterly <br /> 1 From wells which have not been monitored for total lead. If total <br /> lead is detected, the Discharger shall perform verification sampling <br /> within 30 days of submittal of the monitoring report. If the presence <br /> of total lead is not confirmed, no further test is required. If <br /> pollution is verified, the Discharger shall continue monitoring for <br /> total lead quarterly. <br /> REPORTING <br /> Quarterly reports shall be submitted to the Board by the 30th day of the month <br /> following the end of each calendar quarter until such time that the Executive <br /> Officer determines that the reports are no longer necessary. <br />
