Box 2009
Stockton, CA 95201
APPROVAL OF PHASE I SITE ASSESSMENT WORK PLAN, SANTA FE PACIFIC PIPELINE
PARTNERS (SFPP), STOCKTON FACILITY, SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, CASE NO. 3661
During our telephone conversation on 15 July 1992, you stated that the
response of Hart Crowser,Inc. (HC) , SFPP's consultant, to our 26 June 1992
comments on the subject work plan was inadequate.
I have reviewed our 26 June comments, notes of our meeting with HC and SFPP on
8 July, and HC' s response. Since the work proposed is only for the first
phase of the investigation, the amended work plan adequately addresses our
comments. The data collected from this initial investigation will indicate if
additional work is necessary. If it is, HC and SFPP will send you a copy of
their work plan so you can comment on it. Your comments would be highly
appreciated.
In our letter to SFPP (copy enclosed) approving the amended work plan, we
informed SFPP that it must comply with any local agency requirements or
requests for additional information. We also requested that SFPP send you a
copy of all work plans and associated reports for the facility.
Please call me at (916) 361-5650 if you have any questions.
PHILIP ISORENA
Sanitary Engineering Associate
PSI: ldj
cc: Mr. Steve M.
