<br /> During a walk through of the business, l noted several, bottles of penicillun
<br /> and quite a few containers filled with different types of chemicals -
<br /> cholorinated caustics, corrosive materials.

<br /> This is a liquor store with gas pumps (Exxon). Three UST's are
<br /> affected by right of way take on Alternatives 1,2 and 3. Gas lane adjacent to
<br /> island is also in proposed right of way. This site is listed on the
<br /> "Contamination Data Base File" with the County.
<br /> File information indicates there were 3 underground fuel tanks at this site.
<br /> The owner was unsure of the exact size of these tanks. The approximate
<br /> sizes are (1) 6,000 reg. gas (1) 6,000 unI gas and (1) 2,000 Diesel. The
<br /> County had no records indicating testing of the tanks, inventory
<br /> reconciliation, product lines and the site was unpermitted as of 3/93.
<br /> There was a Phase lI Environmental Assessment conducted by WHF
<br /> Environmental Consultants as of May 93. WHF obtained a well permit on
<br /> 5/24/93 for 25' - 65' soil borings/wells. Samples were taken at 15' 20' and
<br /> 25'. All results were nondetectable and there was no GW at 25'
