" Levine-Fricke-Recon <br /> December 23, 1996. , M 45 <br /> 3966.84-026 <br /> via U.S. mail <br /> TO: PARTIES ON THE ATTACHED DISTRIBUTION LIST <br /> Subject: Bimonthly Letter Report for October 1 through November 30, 1996, <br /> Lincoln Center Project, Stockton, California <br /> Dear Interested Parties: <br /> On behalf of the Settling Dry Cleaning Defendants (SDCDs), Levine-Fricke-Recon Inc. presents <br /> this letter report summarizing activities for the period of October 1 through November 30, 1996 <br /> ("the bimonthly period") at Lincoln Center, located in Stockton, California ("the Site," as defined <br /> in the First Final Consent Decree Order, Judgment and Reference To Special Master, filed with the <br /> Court on January 19, 1996). The information in this letter report is provided pursuant to Sections <br /> IV(A)(1)(f) and IV(F) of the "Permanent Injunction Governing Investigation, Monitoring, and <br /> Testing of the Hazardous Substance Contamination at and Emanating from Lincoln Center and <br /> Order of Reference to Special Master," issued by Judge Levi of the United States District Court, <br /> Eastern District of California, and filed on August 16, 1993. <br /> Ongoing Data Collection Activities <br /> The following data collection activities were conducted at the Site during the bimonthly period: <br /> • Fluid levels were measured in monitoring wells at the Site on October 14 and November 11, <br /> 1996. Table 1, attached, presents a summary of groundwater elevation data for these months. <br /> • Groundwater samples were collected from monitoring wells at the Site on November 12 <br /> through November 15, 1996. Analytical results of these samples will be presented in the fourth <br /> quarter 1996 monitoring report to be submitted to all parties by February 15, 1997. <br /> • Split groundwater samples were collected from Chevron monitoring wells, located on the <br /> Chevron Gas Station site at the southwest comer of Benjamin Holt Drive and Pacific Avenue, <br /> on November 12, 1996. Analytical results of these samples will be presented in the fourth <br /> quarter 1996 monitoring report to be submitted to all parties by February 15, 1997. <br /> • Additional site survey activities were conducted on November 19, 1996. These activities <br /> included surveying additional portions of the sanitary sewer, Lincoln Center building <br /> footprints, and the location and top of casing elevations for newly installed monitoring wells <br /> MW-100 and MW-101 (discussed below).
