" Levine-Fricke-Recon December 23, 1996. , M 45 3966.84-026 via U.S. mail TO: PARTIES ON THE ATTACHED DISTRIBUTION LIST Subject: Bimonthly Letter Report for October 1 through November 30, 1996, Lincoln Center Project, Stockton, California Dear Interested Parties: On behalf of the Settling Dry Cleaning Defendants (SDCDs), Levine-Fricke-Recon Inc. presents this letter report summarizing activities for the period of October 1 through November 30, 1996 ("the bimonthly period") at Lincoln Center, located in Stockton, California ("the Site," as defined in the First Final Consent Decree Order, Judgment and Reference To Special Master, filed with the Court on January 19, 1996). The information in this letter report is provided pursuant to Sections IV(A)(1)(f) and IV(F) of the "Permanent Injunction Governing Investigation, Monitoring, and Testing of the Hazardous Substance Contamination at and Emanating from Lincoln Center and Order of Reference to Special Master," issued by Judge Levi of the United States District Court, Eastern District of California, and filed on August 16, 1993. Ongoing Data Collection Activities The following data collection activities were conducted at the Site during the bimonthly period: • Fluid levels were measured in monitoring wells at the Site on October 14 and November 11, 1996. Table 1, attached, presents a summary of groundwater elevation data for these months. • Groundwater samples were collected from monitoring wells at the Site on November 12 through November 15, 1996. Analytical results of these samples will be presented in the fourth quarter 1996 monitoring report to be submitted to all parties by February 15, 1997. • Split groundwater samples were collected from Chevron monitoring wells, located on the Chevron Gas Station site at the southwest comer of Benjamin Holt Drive and Pacific Avenue, on November 12, 1996. Analytical results of these samples will be presented in the fourth quarter 1996 monitoring report to be submitted to all parties by February 15, 1997. • Additional site survey activities were conducted on November 19, 1996. These activities included surveying additional portions of the sanitary sewer, Lincoln Center building footprints, and the location and top of casing elevations for newly installed monitoring wells MW-100 and MW-101 (discussed below).
