Early Warning Monitorin Well
Lincoln Village Center
Stockton, San Joaquin County -2- 23 May 1991
Considering that the Phase II Workplan will propose to install additional MWs
in deeper zones, we have no objection to the installation of the early warning
MW as proposed. Please comply with the following requests:
1. Inform us of the date when the MW will be installed.
2. Immediately after completing the MW, send us the boring log, including
top-of-casing elevations, and MW completion details.
3. Provide us with the Quality Assurance Project Plan for the site.
4. Inform us of the dates when you propose to submit the quarterly monitoring
reports.
We are reviewing and shall soon comment on the April 1991 Phase II Assessment
Report. According to my 17 April 1991 discussion with Mr. Gerry Nakano, KJC
intends to address our comments in the Phase III Workplan, which is in
preparation. In the Phase III Workplan, KJC will propose a compliance time
schedule which we will include in a Cleanup and Abatement Order.
If you have comments or questions regarding this matter, please call me at
(916) 361-5653.
/,
M"AI")CHAEL HQGGIGIN
Project Engineer
MLH:gs
cc: Ms. Eleanor Ratliff, San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Stockton
Ms. Jeanne ZOi2ZZi , Neumilier & Beardslee, Stockton
Mr. Gerry S.
