SECTION 10-2 <br /> SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS FOR WELL DESTRUCTION <br /> 10-2 . 1 WELL PREPARATION <br /> Each well shall be cleaned to remove any undesirable material . <br /> The screened intervals of the wells shall be swabbed to ensure that <br /> they are open and will accept grout, and any material brought into <br /> the wells by swabbing shall be bailed. In addition to normal <br /> swabbing and bailing, Well LVMD2 may require additional bailing or <br /> jetting through the caved interval from 100 to 252 feet below <br /> ground surface (bgs) . <br /> The contract price paid for well preparation shall include <br /> full compensation for furnishing all labor, materials, tools, <br /> equipment and incidentals, and for doing all the work involved in <br /> preparation of wells for destruction. Work includes swabbing and <br /> bailing. Costs for decontamination, waste containment and sampling <br /> are included in Section 10. 1 . 4 . <br /> 10-2 .2 PERFORATION <br /> Blank casing below the sanitary seals of each well shall be <br /> perforated or ripped using equipment suitable for the size and type <br /> of casing materials at each well . <br /> Specific perforation specifications unique to each well are <br /> described below: <br /> Well Perforated intervals bas <br /> LVMD1 80' to 102' (22 linear feet; 12-and 14-inch <br /> diameter) and 102' to 164' (62 linear feet, 12-inch <br /> diameter) <br /> LVMD2 80' to 128' (128 linear feet, 14-inch diameter) and <br /> 128' to 252' (124 linear feet, 12-inch diameter) <br /> LVMD4 70' to 130' (60 linear feet, 10-inch diameter) <br /> LVMD6 0' to 210' (210 linear feet, 8- and 14-inch <br /> diameter) <br /> The contract price paid for well perforation shall include <br /> full compensation for furnishing all labor, materials, tools, <br /> equipment and incidentals, and for doing all the work involved in <br /> completion of well perforation and destruction as described above . <br /> 6691\SPECS\SeCT10N.102 <br />
