Levine•Fricke•Recon
ENGINEERS,HYDROGEOLOGISTS&APPLIED SCIENTISTS
scheduled for the week beginning March 16, 1998. After the final schedule is determined, LFR
will provide Chevron with 48-hour notice of the actual start dates.
Field activities will be conducted between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. We estimate that a
minimum of three days will be necessary to complete the trenching work and a total of six to seven
days to complete the extraction well installations (approximately three days for each well). Vault
placement and additional pipe connection work will be performed within a few days after well
installation is completed.
Before LFR can install the extraction wells on the Subject Property, we must obtain well permits
from the San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division (SJC
PHS/EHD). To issue the permits, the SJC PHS/EHD must have written permission from the
property owner and tenant to conduct the work on the Subject Property. Therefore, please sign the
acknowledgment in the space indicated, transmit the signed document to me via facsimile at (5 10)
652-4906, and return the original document to me in the enclosed self-addressed, postage-paid
envelope.
If you have any questions or comments regarding our request, please do not hesitate to call me at
(510) 596-9559. On behalf of the SDCDs, we thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
Sincerely,
Donald T.
