Lincoln Center Project page 2
Pacific and Ben Holt, Stockton.
The inspections on January 26 and 27, 1998 revealed that the boreholes that
were originally placed late in the day and not re-grouted multiple times had
grouts that dropped substantially. Both Levine-Fricke-Recon and Gregg Drilling
crews agreed that late afternoon grouting can create a "dropping" problem and
will take steps in the future to ensure that this problem will not re-occur. It is the
opinion of Mr. Infurna that the CPT boreholes re-grouted on January 26 & 27,
1998 adequately address the concerns noted in the letter from PHS-EHD dated
January 8, 1998.
Some CPT holes were unable to be located at the Chevron site and may need to
be addressed if they can be located after the stockpiled soil is removed. The
Chevron leaking underground tank site is also under Mr. Infurna's oversight and
he will be watching for indications of any hole-grout problems.
I hope this clears up any grouting concerns that have existed since the CPT
placements. Please contact Mr. Infurna at (209) 468-3454 if you have any
questions or wish to discuss the site.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health/Division
U
Michael J.
