This is a report of the Routine hazardous waste inspection conducted at the referenced. The following are Minor Violations - Notice to Comply: 108,122,123,124,125,127,128,301,404,407,605,701,703,812. 108. The following wastes require hazardous waste determination: o One unlabeled blue 55-gallon drum of unknown content in the front shop. (photo 1) o Four 5-gallon buckets of unknown oily liquid, one 5-gallon bucket of unknown labelled corrosive under the shelves at the south wall of the front shop. o One 5-gallon bucket and three trays of unknown oily content in the back shop (photo 2), and one tray of waste oil under the lathe unit in the back shop (photo 20) o Three 55-gallon drums of unknown content and two 55-gallon drums of unknown oily liquid outside the back shop (photo 3,4, 5, 6, 7) o Sludge/grit from coolant wash of the Grinder in the back shop (photo 17,18) o Metal fines on the floor generated from Dry Blast in the back shop (Photo 9), two blue pans of oily metal shavings (Photo 13,14) in the back shop, seven 55-gallon drums of metal residuals outside the back shop (Photo 15,16), and metal shavings from various milling machines and lathes at both shops (photo 10,11,12) require hazardous waste and size determination. Technician at the back shop stated metal fines from sand blasting units at both the front and back shop (Photo 8, 9) are being recycled as scrap metal (to Modesto Junk Co) without first determining particle size or hazardous properties .
