An emergency coordinator and modified contingency plan information is lacking. There must be at <br /> least one emergency coordinator on site or on call to coordinate emergency response measures, and <br /> the following information must be posted by a phone: the name and phone number of the emergency <br /> coordinator; location of fire extinguishers, spill control equipment, and if present, fire alarm; and the <br /> phone number of the fire department, unless the facility has a direct alarm. <br /> * Immediately appoint an emergency coordinator and post the required information by a phone. A form <br /> is provided that can be used for this purpose. Submit proof of correction to the EHD by December 19, <br /> 2011. <br /> 812. Copies of Universal Waste disposal records were not found on site. A copy of the disposal <br /> receipts of Universal Waste, including but not limited to lamps, alkaline batteries, mercury containing <br /> switches, CRT, electronic devices, and aerosol can wastes shall be retained on site for at least three <br /> years available for inspection. <br /> * Immediately locate a copy of all Universal Waste disposal records for the last three years, maintain <br /> them on site, and submit copies to the EHD by December 19, 2011. <br /> NOTES (The following are not violations) <br /> The facility generated at least 0.22 tons of hazardous waste in 2010 based on available information from <br /> DTSC website. No uniform or consolidated manifests were available for review during this inspection. <br /> This number is subject to change after hazardous waste disposal records have been submitted as <br /> required in this report. <br /> A copy of CUPA class schedule, hazardous waste labeling factsheet, and San Joaquin County Small <br /> Business Hazardous waste Disposal Program pamphlet, have been provided to generator during this <br /> inspection. Also spoke to generator that pans and buckets used to catch oil dripping from lathes and <br /> other machines, and other hazardous wastes generated during process, need not be managed as a <br /> hazardous waste container (i.e. label and cover) as long as the content is emptied daily to the properly <br /> labelled and closed hazardous waste container.
