I spoke with Tracy of
TestAmerica and he understood my concerns and assured me they have rods that'll fit inside the PVC deep
casing. If so, NO cement pre-grout is needed. The augers won't walk far off the borehole with steel rods to TD. My
comment letter will give you the option to pre grout or insert rods.
another concern I have is that this wp doc includes a corrective action plan too, among other things. As such,
approval of the doc must address the corrective action. A condition for an executive summary submittal and public
participation will be included in the letter since it's already Friday and I haven't received an executive summary.
As such, there is no way the public comment period will occur over the Thanksgiving holiday week.
I will generate a draft approval letter today for the WP and finalize it by Monday, Nov 19. I'll be out of the office
Nov 20 and I will be returning to the office Nov 28. Your executive summary should be on my desk by then. I will
process it as time allows and notify you of the comment period dates.
Michael J. Infurna Jr.
Senior REHS.
