V
If the beneficial re-use option is pursued, all excavated soil will be screened with a PID,
segregated as "clean", impacted and heavily-impacted, and stockpiled on-site. The stockpiles will
be bermed for leachate control, constructed on plastic sheeting and covered. The "clean" soil
stockpiled will be sampled and analyzed for possible re-use as backfill material or on-site
disposal. The entire volume of stockpiled soil will be characterized according to the approved
beneficial re-use sampling and analysis plan.
3.8 Documentation of Excavation and Waste Management Tasks
A project report documenting all of the proposed work activities will be prepared and stamped by a
state of California Registered Geologist and/or Professional Civil Engineer and submitted to
PHSIEHD and the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB).
