Sample bottles will be labeled, <br /> wrapped in protective packing material, and placed in self-sealing plas- <br /> tic bags, then placed in a cooler with ice or frozen ice packs for delivery <br /> to the laboratory. <br /> 4.2.2.2 Transportation <br /> The samples will be hand delivered or shipped to the laboratory on the <br /> date of sample collection, or as soon afterwards as possible. If samples <br /> are shipped to the laboratory, the shipping container shall be sealed <br /> witha custodyseal. The shipper shall document the condition of the <br /> P <br /> seal when the container is delivered to the shipper, and the receiver <br /> shall note the condition of the seal at the time of receipt. <br /> 4-2 <br />
