k„) <br /> 2.0 KEY PERSONNEL <br /> The organization and responsibilities for implementing safe project <br /> activities, and more specifically the requirements contained in this HSP <br /> are discussed in this section. <br /> The key personnel for this project are: <br /> Project Manager Jeff Rubin <br /> Site Health and Safety Officer Tom Cammarata <br /> Director, Health and Safety Steven Meyers, CIH <br /> 2.1 PROJECT MANAGER <br /> The ERM-West Project Manager (PM) is, by designation, the individual <br /> who has the primary responsibility for ensuring the overall health and <br /> safety of this project. Thus the PM has the primary responsibility for <br /> ensuring the implementation of the requirements of this HSP. The <br /> PM's specific responsibilities include: <br /> • Ensuring that all project personnel have received a copy of and <br /> have read this HSP and have completed the HSP sign off sheet. <br /> • Requiring the attendance of all site personnel to a tailgate briefing <br /> apprising them of the contents of this HSP and specific hazards <br /> identified to be present at the facility prior to performing work. <br /> • Ensuring that sufficient personal protective equipment (PPE), as <br /> required by this HSP, is available during the project. <br /> • Obtaining all subcontractor documentation of employee <br /> participation in a medical monitoring program and training <br /> program. <br /> • Maintaining a high level of health and safety consciousness <br /> among employees at the facility. <br /> • Maintaining regular communications with the Site Health and <br /> Safety Officer and, if necessary to resolve health and safety <br /> conflicts, the Director of Health and Safety. <br /> 2-1 <br />
