SITE-SPECIFIC SAFETY REQUIREMENTS <br /> Safety requirements specific to the Coyner Property site include the following: <br /> Potential Hazard Protective Measure <br /> Residual gasoline fuel and vapors Level D protective clothing will be worn, <br /> from removed tanks Respiratory protective devices will organic <br /> vapor cartridges will be kept readily <br /> available. <br /> Flammability of vapors All pumps, hoses, nozzles, couplings, etc. <br /> will be made of nonsparking materials. An <br /> organic vapor/explosive meter will be used to <br /> continuously monitor the immediate work are <br /> for the level of organic vapors present <br /> Loud equipment noises Proper hearing protection is required <br /> Wet and slippery surfaces No-slip soled boots for oil and grease are <br /> required. <br /> Heavy equipment operations All personnel will wear hard hats and stay <br /> clear of movable equipment parts. <br /> Open excavations and cave-ins Personnel will be required to stay at least 2 <br /> feet from edges of open excavations. Under <br /> no circumstances shall a person enter an <br /> excavation over 4 feet deep without following <br /> proper Occupational Safety and Health <br /> Administration (OSHA) requirements. <br /> Working with basic construction tools Common sense will be practiced.
