Coyner Property May 2001 <br /> Project No. 75.25729.0002 Page 5 <br /> The Project Manager/Project Geologist is responsible for the dissemination of the information <br /> contained in this plan to site personnel and to the responsible representative of each subcontractor firm <br /> working under ATC on the project. <br /> The Project Manager/Project Geologist is responsible for the dissemination of the information <br /> contained in this plan to site personnel and to the responsible representative of each subcontractor firm <br /> working under ATC on the project. <br /> The Project Manager/Project Geologist will act as the Site Safety Officer. The Site Safety Officer is <br /> responsible for ensuring that the following items are adequately addressed: <br /> • Ensure that all personnel on-site adhere to the requirements of the site safety plan. <br /> ■ Obtain acknowledgement, on sign-off page enclosed as Attachment A, from all on-site <br /> personnel or visitors regarding their acceptance of the site safety plan requirements. <br /> • Investigate all incidents and accidents and report in writing to the Corporate Safety Officer. <br /> ■ Ensure that proper personal decontamination points are available. <br /> The Project Manager/Project Geologist has the authority to suspend work anytime they determine that <br /> the provisions of the plan are inadequate to ensure worker safety. <br /> Each individual working on, or inspecting the site shall be responsible for reading this site safety plan <br /> and for acknowledging acceptance of all the requirements thereof by signing the attached sign-off <br /> page. Each individual shall be responsible for complying with the site safety plan and for conducting <br /> himself/herself in a healthy and safe manner at all times. Each individual shall be responsible for <br /> notifying the Site Safety Officer of any violations of, or recommended upgrades to, the project safety <br /> plan. <br /> 3. MEDICAL SURVEILLANCE <br /> ATC personnel engaged in site operations shall be participants in the Medical Surveillance Program, <br /> and must be cleared by the examining physician(s) to wear respiratory protection devices and <br /> protective clothing for working with hazardous materials. The applicable requirements under CAC <br /> Title 8, Section 5216 will be observed. <br /> 4. SAFETY/ORIENTATION TRAINING <br /> Field personnel from ATC, its subcontractors, and other site visitors will be briefed on this site safety <br /> plan.
