4.0 REPORTING AND SCHEDULE
4.1 Task 3—Report Preparation
Details regarding the field activities will be compiled into a report. This
report will contain boring logs, well details, testing results and
interpretations. Interpretations will focus to discern the source of ground
water impact near this facility. Qualitative and quantitative comparison
tables will be used to assess historic ground water concentrations for
contaminants of concern. The discrete screen horizons will be used to
identify the vertical movement of gas, if any. This approach will be used
to support and discount the potential ground water impact mechanisms
around the site. The impact assessment will then be used to identify the
adequacy of the detection ground water monitoring system.
4.2 Schedule
The issuance of a final report and project schedule will depend on the time
allotted for the following elements: 1)RWQCB plan review and approval;
2)weather;3) driller availability;and 4)work progress. We anticipate
completing field work by the end of June and providing a report to the
RWQCB by mid-July.
SECTION 5.0
FIELD SAMPLING AND ANALYSIS PLAN
This sampling and analysis plan(SAP)is to characterize the soil and ground water
related to the above referenced activities. The SAP includes sampling locations,
sampling methods, sample preservation, the number of samples, chain of custody
matters, analytical parameters, method detection limits and other information necessary
to collect and analyze the required samples. The sampling procedures contained in this
Plan are consistent with those required by RWQCB and per the facility monitoring and
reporting plan for ground water.
California Concentrates Monitoring Well Work Plan Issued: June 8,2001
JHC Project No.493.01 7 Revision 1
