ARCAUIS Ms. Lori Duncan
October 8, 2008
(MW-1, MW-2, MW-3, MW-4, and MW-5) using the North American Vertical Datum of
1988 (NAVD88). The environmental well survey map provided by Muir is included in
Attachment 8.
Investigative Derived Waste
Soil cuttings and rinsate water generated during drilling operations were
containerized in 55-gallon drums and temporarily stored on the subject property
pending characterization and disposal: Purge water generated during groundwater
developments from the newly installed groundwater monitoring wells were
containerized in 55-gallon drums and temporarily stored for disposal. On September
5, 2008, rinsate and purge water was removed from the subject property and
disposed of at Chemical Waste Management in Kettleman Hills, California. On
September 5, 2008, soil cuttings were'removed from the subject property and
-- properly disposed of at Forward Landfill in Manteca, California for disposal.
LManifests are included in Attachment 9.
Results
Groundwater Flow
DTW measurements were subtracted from newly surveyed top of casing elevations
to calculate the groundwater elevation at each monitoring well. Calculated
groundwater elevations are presented in Table 3. These groundwater elevation data
were used to construct groundwater elevation contour maps for the groundwater flow
underlying the site.
LGroundwater elevations ranged from 27.50 (MW-3)to 27.72 (MW-1)feet below
mean sea level (BMSL). The groundwater flow direction was toward the northeast at
an approximate horizontal hydraulic gradient of 0.001 foot per foot(ft/ft), as illustrated
on the groundwater elevation contour map (Figure 2).
Groundwater Chemistry
Analytical results for the recent groundwater monitoring event are summarized in
Table 3. Maximum and minimum concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbon
constituents detected in groundwater samples are summarized in the table below:
L..
Page:
\lam ds-us\oRcedata\Sacmment"A1EN\ACHEVROM30907516 DeliwmbleslRepWskAssessm V309075 Assessment RepM 181810950.dx 7/10
I
