Work Plan for Site Assessment <br /> Former Texaco Service Station <br /> Chevron Site ID 309075 <br /> September 30, 2009 <br /> 3.6.3 Monitoring Well Development and Sampling <br /> The newly installed groundwater monitoring wells will-be developed and sampled a minimum of <br /> 48 hours following installation. The groundwater samples will be placed on ice, cooled to <br /> approximately 4 degrees centigrade, and transported to a State of California certified laboratory <br /> under chain-of-custody documentation. The groundwater samples will be analyzed for the <br /> following constituents: <br /> • TPH-GRO, TPH-DRO, and methanol by USEPA Methods 80158 and 3630C (silica gel <br /> L cleanup) <br /> • TPH-MO by USEPA Method 8015B modified and 3630C(silica gel cleanup) <br /> • BTEX by USEPA Method 8260B <br /> MTBE, DIPE, ETBE, TAME, TBA, 1,,2-DCA, EDB, and ethanol by USEPA Method 82606 <br /> 3.6.4 Survey <br /> A California State Licensed Surveyor will survey the newt installed-wells. The well casing will <br /> Y Y Y 9 <br /> be surveyed to the nearest 0.01 feet in elevation to the existing site elevation datum located with <br /> Lrespect to the California Coordinate System, and latitude and longitude in degrees, minutes, <br /> and seconds. <br /> 3.7 WASTE DISPOSAL <br /> All soil cuttings, drilling fluids, purge water, decontamination water and personal protective <br /> r equipment (PPE) generated during drilling operations will be containerized in Department of <br /> L Transportation (DOT)-approved 55-gallon drums and temporarily stored on the subject property <br /> pending characterization and disposal. Upon characterization, wastes will be transported' by <br /> Chevron's disposal contractor to an appropriate disposal or treatment facility. <br /> rr 4.0 REPORTING <br /> L <br /> A report will be prepared to document the results of site assessment activities.
