The groundwater samples will be placed on ice, cooled to
approximately 4 degrees centigrade, and transported to a State of California certified laboratory
under chain-of-custody documentation. The groundwater samples will be analyzed for the
following constituents:
• TPH-GRO, TPH-DRO, and methanol by USEPA Methods 80158 and 3630C (silica gel
L cleanup)
• TPH-MO by USEPA Method 8015B modified and 3630C(silica gel cleanup)
• BTEX by USEPA Method 8260B
MTBE, DIPE, ETBE, TAME, TBA, 1,,2-DCA, EDB, and ethanol by USEPA Method 82606
3.6.4 Survey
A California State Licensed Surveyor will survey the newt installed-wells. The well casing will
Y Y Y 9
be surveyed to the nearest 0.01 feet in elevation to the existing site elevation datum located with
Lrespect to the California Coordinate System, and latitude and longitude in degrees, minutes,
and seconds.
3.7 WASTE DISPOSAL
All soil cuttings, drilling fluids, purge water, decontamination water and personal protective
r equipment (PPE) generated during drilling operations will be containerized in Department of
L Transportation (DOT)-approved 55-gallon drums and temporarily stored on the subject property
pending characterization and disposal.
