We have no information indicating the existence of other
possible hazardous materials pertaining the project site.
Taber Consultants prepared a "Roadway Geotechnical Report" for the project dated
May 29, 2003.
3.0 ASSIGNMENT Of RESPONSIBILITIES
The following sections briefly describe the assignment of responsibilities during the
limited assessment activities at the site.
3.1 FIELD SUPERVISOR SITE SAFETY OFFICER
The field supervisor is responsible for field implementation of the H&S Plan and is
also the Site Safety Officer (SSO). These responsibilities include communicating specific
health and safety requirements to site personnel and consulting with the office Health and
. Safety coordinator as field issues arise. The SSO in conjunction with the office Health and
Safety Coordinator (as necessary) will implement emergency actions at the site, upgrade
or downgrade levels of protection and perform area air monitoring, if necessary. The SSO
is responsible for completing and submitting an accident report with 24 hours to the office
Health and Safety Coordinator, in the event of an injury or near miss. The field supervisor
has final authority at the site.
3.2 SITE PERSONNEL
. Site personnel are responsible for understanding and complying with site safety and
health requirements. Field personnel will continuously monitor site conditions to help limit
the risk that fieldwork will endanger surrounding on-site and off-site personnel.
4.0 GENERAL HEALTH AND SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
4.1 TRAINING
Consistent with the CAL-OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency
.
