5.0 INTERVIEWS <br /> 5.1 Interview with Client <br /> Lory Mussi, one of the owners of the Site, was interviewed by telephone on <br /> December 3, 2019. At this time, he indicated that he and his brother purchased <br /> the Site in approximately 2006; they had rented it for around 25 years prior to <br /> that. He stated that the Site is currently used to grow almonds, alfalfa, and <br /> wheat, and that tomatoes have been grown in the past. <br /> Mr. Mussi stated that no wells are located on the Site. One pump from the river <br /> supplies the drip irrigation water for the Site, he said, adding that it is powered by <br /> electricity. He had no knowledge of the plugged and abandoned gas well on the <br /> Site. <br /> Mr. Mussi indicated that a building burned down on the Site before his family <br /> became involved with the property; he was not aware of any wells, septic <br /> systems, or power lines in the vicinity of the former building. <br /> Mr. Mussi was not aware of any fuel tanks, chemical storage, dumping or buried <br /> debris, automotive or equipment maintenance, or other environmental issues on <br /> the Site. <br /> 6.0 SITE DOCUMENTS <br /> 6.1 Environmental Health Department Records <br /> Hazardous Materials Records <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department was contacted <br /> regarding the Site address of 6565 West Howard Road. According to Laura <br /> Sauers of that office, no records are available for the Site address <br /> (correspondence, November 19, 2019). <br /> Well & Septic Permits <br /> Live Oak searched the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> well and septic permit files for the Site address.
