In the 1975 photo, it appears that all but one or two structures have been
removed from the area near the southeast corner of the Site. A small structure
or object can be seen at an intersection of field roads near the center of the Site.
Howard Road has been rerouted and now defines the southern property line for
the Site.
In the 1998 photo, one structure remains near the southeast corner of the Site,
and one small structure or object remains near the center of the Site. The
remainder of the Site appears to be irrigated pasture or row crops.
In the 2004 photo, the structure has been removed from the area near the
southeast corner of the Site. No other significant changes are apparent.
In the 2015 photo, the Site appears much as it does today. Nothing remains of
the former structure area on the Site, and no structures or objects can be seen
near the center of the Site. Approximately half of the Site has been planted with
orchard.
These photos are included as Appendix 3 of this report.
4.0 SITE INSPECTION
Live Oak inspected the site on December 5, 2019. Photographs of the Site are
attached to this report as Appendix 2. The property was viewed from the
southern property line and a portion of the eastern property line; the remainder of
the Site could not be inspected due to muddy and foggy conditions.
The Site consists of crop land and almond orchard crossed by irrigation canals,
sheep were grazing on the eastern side of the Site. Signs indicating the
presence of an underground gas pipeline were noted at four locations along the
southern property line (Howard Road). A pole-mounted transformer was
observed on the eastern side of the property; it looked relatively new, with no
staining evident. Two additional pole-mounted transformers are present on the
north side of the Site but could not be directly observed.
The adjoining property to the west was observed to be orchard. The property to
the south was agricultural land with grazing sheep. The Middle River defines the
northern and eastern property lines. The properties beyond the river to the east
and north, where visible, were agricultural land with occasional rural residences.
LOGE 1949 3
