The Fund has pre-approved costs for preparing a revised
Corrective Action Plan ("CAP"), but it has not yet approved costs associated with installing any
additional monitoring wells. I understand from Mr. DiGiorgio that you have agreed the need for
additional wells should be evaluated in the revised CAP.
Environmental Audit, Inc. ("EAI") has been authorized to prepare the revised CAP n
accordance with the Fund's letter. EAI will endeavor to submit the revised CAP to PHS-EHD by
May 1, 1998. I understand a meeting at your office will not be held until after the revised AP is
submitted if necessary.
If you have any questions or comments regarding this matter, please contact me.
Very truly yours,
Mark B.
