Watch for slippery ground when mounting and dis- <br /> mounting the platform; <br /> - Drilling operations should be terminated during an <br /> electrical storm; <br /> - Consuming alcoholic beverages, depressants, stimulants, <br /> or any other chemical substance which alters job per- <br /> formance while on the job is strictly prohibited; and <br /> -- All unattended boreholes must be adequately covered or <br /> otherwise protected to prevent drill rig personnel, <br /> site visitors or animals from stepping or falling into <br /> the hole. When the drilling project has been <br /> completed, all open boreholes should be covered, <br /> *protected or backfilled adequately and according to <br /> local or state regulations. <br /> 6.0 TRAINING AND f'EDICAL CLEARANCE <br /> Any person who enters a site Exclusion Zone must have been <br /> trained to understand the potential health and safety hazards <br /> associated with their tasks. Additionally, a medical clearance <br /> will be required for all persons working within ,:he Exclusion <br /> Zone. Personnel will not be assigned to field activities until <br /> they have been trained to a level commensurate with their job <br /> function and the degree of anticipated hazard. <br /> The SSO, PM or designee will require each subcontractor to <br /> sign an Acknowledgment of Review of Site Health and Safety Plan <br /> (see Form 1) and to certify that subcontractor personnel have <br /> met the requirements of the OSHA hazardous Waste Operations <br /> Standard (29 CFR 1910.120) and other applicable OSHA standards <br /> (see Form 2) . Copies of Forms 1 and 2 will be maintained on the <br /> ' job site. <br /> 7.0 GENERAL HEALTH AND SAFETY REQUIREMENTS <br /> 7.1 Site Safety Meetings <br /> Prior to commencement of field activities, a site safety <br /> meeting will be conducted to review the requirements of this <br /> HASP.
