' • Retained Cruz Brothers Locators, Inc. (Cruz Brothers), to perform a subsurface utilities survey on <br /> the Site using subsurface line locating equipment (e.g., electromagnetic line locating equipment). <br /> ' Cruz Brothers performed the survey on January 3, 2012. <br /> • Retained the services of Gregg Drilling and Testing(Gregg), a C57-licensed drilling contractor, to <br /> ' perform the well destruction activities. <br /> • Retained the services of Advanced Technology Laboratories (ATL), a California-certified analytical <br /> laboratory(ELAP No. 1838), to provide chemical analysis of soil samples for disposal purposes. <br /> ' • Retained the services of NRC Environmental Services, Inc. (NRC) to provide transportation and <br /> disposal services for the excavated soil and well debris. <br /> ' • Retained the services of Robert Burns Construction, Inc. (Burns), a licensed (4466981) <br /> construction and paving contractor, to perform sidewalk replacement activities in accordance with <br /> the City's encroachment permit requirements. Burns also provided asphalt resurfacing activities <br /> ' subsequent to the removal of the remediation system compound. <br /> Field Activities <br /> ' Between January 10 and February 2, 2012, 89 site-related groundwater monitoring and remediation <br /> wells were destroyed in accordance with SJCEHD approved methods and procedures and under the <br /> ' observation of SJCEHD representative, Mr. Johnny Yoakum. All work was completed in compliance <br /> with San Joaquin County Well Ordinance Section 13.6.1 which requires that a registered geologist or <br /> engineer provide field oversight for well destruction operations.
