L <br /> ti <br /> Work Plan <br /> Facility Demolition and Soil Excavation <br /> Stockton,California <br /> Sierra-Pacific Project No.95-128.06 <br /> • Contractor's documented health and safety program must address demolition, removal, <br /> Lhandling, loading, transportation, and disposal of structures, tanks, pipes, pavement, and other <br /> materials. The contractor must provide emergency telephones, an emergency shower, and <br /> toilet facilities for workers. <br /> • The contractor must include provisions for workers working in dark areas without power. <br /> The contractor must provide generators for power tools and a means to convey water for <br /> cleaning and dust control. <br /> LA pre-construction meeting will be scheduled with Cargill management and Griffith to review this <br /> work plan and revised H&S plan requirements. Upon initiation of the demolition work, a second <br /> H&S meeting will be scheduled, that will include Sierra-Pacific, Cargill management and all on-site <br /> Contractor employees. Upon completion of the meeting, Cargill will manage all contractor on-site <br /> health and safety activities. <br /> L5.0 PROJECT SCHEDULE <br /> LSierra-Pacific is prepared to initiate work described in this work plan upon authorization from Cargill. <br /> Completion of the scope of work is dependent on the time necessary to clean and remove the existing <br /> Ltanks and Product lines. In recent weeks, Sierra-Pacific has been in contact with Cargill management <br /> f and its contractor to discuss this scope of work. Based on these discussions, Sierra-Pacific anticipates <br /> 6. that pre-demolition activities will begin during the week of October 21, 1996 and demolition activities <br /> to be completed by early December 1996. Soil excavation activities are tentatively scheduled for <br /> May of 1997.
