The number of personnel shall be restricted to the minimum necessary <br /> to complete the required work as-an administrative control to limit personnel exposures to site <br /> C t <br /> chemical hazards. <br /> 10.1 Work Site Practices = <br /> The prohibited practices and general safety requirements listed in Section 5.0 are applicable to <br /> this site work. In addition, no worker may engage in any activity for which the health and safety <br /> consequences of his/her actions are unclear (e.g., previously unplanned work) without the <br /> approval of the SSO. If such activities become necessary to complete any phase of the work, <br /> ! <br /> a project instruction or procedure shall be developed and followed. ! <br /> s <br /> Smoking will not be permitted in any restricted work location. f <br /> 10.2 Work Zones <br /> Work area access at each site shall be controlled to reduce the possibility of entry by <br /> unauthorized or unprotected individuals, and to prevent the transfer 1!of contaminants by <br /> personnel or equipment from the site.
