CALIFOFLNIA REGIONAL WATER QUALITY CONItKOL BOARD <br /> CENTRAL VALLEY REGION <br /> 3443 Routier Road, Suite A <br /> Sacramento, CA 95827-3096 <br /> NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br /> and <br /> Notice of Application for new Waste Discharge Requirements <br /> (National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Permit) <br /> for <br /> CITY OF STOCKTON AND COUNTY OF SAN JOAQUIN <br /> STORM WATER DISCHARGES FROM MUNICIPAL <br /> SEPARATE STORM SEWER SYSTEM <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> This permit regulates discharges from the municipal storm sewer system in the City of Stockton and the <br /> surrounding urbanized area of San Joaquin County. The permit requires storm water pollutants be <br /> reduced to the maximum extent practicable. prohibits non-storm water discharges, and requires reports <br /> to demonstrate compliance. <br /> A public meeting concerning this matter will be held: <br /> DATE: 24 February 1995 <br /> TIME: 9:00 a.m. <br /> PLACE: Fresno Education Department <br /> Auditorium, Second Floor <br /> Tulare & M Streets <br /> Fresno, California <br /> Persons wishing to comment on or object to the proposed requirements are invited to submit same in <br /> writing to the Regional Board no later than 17 February 1995. All comments or objections received by <br /> this date will be considered in the draft waste discharge requirements. <br /> Additional pertinent information may be received by the Board, upon the request of any interested <br /> person at the meeting. After considering comments or objections. the Board may issue waste discharge <br /> requirements. Any action of the Board may be appealed to the State Water Resources Control Board <br /> within 30 days of the action. <br /> Anyone having questions on these requirements should contact the project representative.
