(Gettler-Ryan),to describe groundwater monitoring performed at the subject site on
August 20, 1995.
In August, Gettler-Ryan gauged and sampled all six wells. All groundwater samples were analyzed for the
presence of TPHGas and BTEX constituents. In addition, samples collected from wells MW-2,MW-4,
and MW-5 were analyzed for volatile organic compounds(VOC's).The measured direction of
groundwater flow was southeasterly. Detectable concentrations of dissolved petroleum hydrocarbons were
only measured at well MW-2.There were reported concentrations of TPHGas at wells MW-4 and MW-5
however, the laboratory reported that the concentrations were derived from discrete peaks within the C8-
C9 range. It is suspected that these discrete peaks are associated with tetrachlorethene(PCE)which, was
detected at both wells. There was also PCE detected at well MW-2.
If you have any questions or comments, I can be reached at(510)842-8695.
Sincerely, <
I4`,,.
Brett L.
