(Gettler-Ryan),to describe groundwater monitoring performed at the subject site on
November 5, 1995.
During their November site visit Gettler-Ryan gauged and sampled all six wells. All groundwater samples
were analyzed for the presence of TPHGas and BTEX constituents. The measured direction of
groundwater flow was toward the southeast. Detectable concentrations of dissolved petroleum
hydrocarbons were measured at all wells except,MW-7. The detections of TPHGas reported for all wells
were based on the presence of discrete peaks within the C8-C9 range. It is suspected that these discrete
peaks are associated with tetrachlorethene(PCE). The relatively low concentrations of toluene reported for
wells MW-3,MW-5,and MW-6 were inconsistent with recent trends. Subsequent monitoring results from
these wells will be evaluated to confirm the presence of these constituents.
If you have any questions or comments, I can be reached at(510)842-8695.
Sincerely, ,Q
d,x /
Brett L.
