Laboratory Analysis of Soil and Grab Ground Water Samples <br /> Grab ground water samples and selected soil samples were transported under chain-of-custody <br /> procedures to Cal Tech Environmental Laboratories (CTEL), a California Department of Public <br /> Health Services (CDPH)-certified laboratory located in Paramount, California, analyzed for: <br /> • Total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline, diesel and oil (TPH-g, TPH-d and <br /> TPH-o, respectively) in accordance with EPA Method 8015 Modified. <br /> • Benzene, ethyl-benzene, toluene, total xylenes (BTEX), and volatile organic compounds <br /> (VOCs)tetrachloroethene(PCE)and trichloroethene(TCE)in accordance with EPA Method <br /> 8260B. <br /> • Chromium (VI), Mercury and Lead in accordance with EPA Methods 7196A, 7470 and <br /> 6010B, selected soil samples were analyzed for leachability by the Waste Extraction Test <br /> using deionized water(DI-WET). <br /> 4.0. FINDINGS <br /> Soil stratigraphywas determined from field data.Contaminant impact to soil and ground water was <br /> characterized from laboratory analytical data. <br /> 4.1. STRATIGRAPHY <br /> General soil stratigraphy consisted of orange-brown silt with intermitted sand lenses from 15 to 30 <br /> feet bsg and 65 to 70 feet bsg, and clay from 45 to 50 feet bsg. <br /> 4.2. ANALYTICAL RESULTS OF SOIL AND GRAB GROUND WATER SAMPLES <br /> A total of fourteen soil samples and two grab ground water samples were analyzed by a CDPH- <br /> certified laboratory for constituents listed in section 3.1.4. <br /> No contaminants of concern were reported above the laboratory reporting limits in any of the soil <br /> samples or grab ground water samples analyzed. The laboratory analytical report (CTEL Nos. <br /> CT214-0811213), QA/QC reports and chain-of-custody forms are included in Appendix D. <br /> The laboratory electronic data files will be uploaded to the State Geotracker database upon receipt <br /> of the global ID number for the site. <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc. <br />
