A FEASIBILITY TEST REPORT <br /> • JIMCO Truck Plaza <br /> 1022 Frontage Road <br /> Ripon, California <br /> Cambria Project No. 165-1556 <br /> November 16, 2005 <br /> 10 INTRODUCTION <br /> On behalf of Olympian JV, Cambria Environmental Technology, Inc , (Cambria) has prepared <br /> this Feascbahty Test Report (FS Report) Feasibility tests consisting of soil vapor extraction <br /> (SVE) and air sparging (AS) were conducted as proposed in Cambria's work plan dated June 23, <br /> 2005 The work plan was approved by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department (SJCEHD) in a letter dated July 13, 2005 (Appendix A) The site background, <br /> feasibility test activities, and evaluation are presented below <br /> 2 0 SITE BACKGROUND <br /> i <br /> • 2 1 Site Description <br /> The site is located at 1002 Frontage Road (formerly 22502 South Highway 99) in Ripon, <br /> California (Figure 1) The site is at an elevation of approximately 58 feet above mean sea level <br /> (amsl) with generally flat topography The site is an operating truck service station with several <br /> structural improvements Along the northern property boundary are several contiguous buildings <br /> that facilitate the operation of retail businesses including a convenience store, a restaurant, a com- <br /> operated laundry facility, an office building, and a warehouse A separate structure near the <br /> southern boundary of the site accommodates a truck wash and truck service bay Other site <br /> improvements include ten fuel dispensers, one split 8,000-gallon and 12,000 gallon gasoline <br /> underground storage tank (UST), four 30,000-gallon diesel aboveground storage tanks (ASTs), a <br /> propane tank, a 4,500-gallon oil water separator, a truck scale, and a drainage pond A site plan <br /> showing the general layout and relative locations of site features is included to Figure 2 <br /> 2 2 Historical Site Operations <br /> The site has been operated as a truck stop for the past 30 years On May 28, 1992, a leaking <br /> diesel fuel dispenser was identified during a routine annual inspection by an inspector with the <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department In 1998, three USTs and ten fuel <br /> dispenser islands were removed from the site and a new gasoline UST and ten dispensers were <br />
