Table 2.2-3 should be revised to reflect that Secondary MCL's are ARARs and <br /> will have to be complied with, to fully protect designated beneficial uses. <br /> c. Throughout Section 2.2.4 the text should be clarified to indicate treatment <br /> objectives for treatment and disposal alternatives, and cleanup objectives <br /> for aquifer restoration. It is not clear which objective is referred to for <br /> each of the compounds discussed. The Inland Water Surface Plan must be <br /> considered in determining effluent limits for surface water discharge of <br /> treated ground water. <br /> d. Section 2.2.4 should be expanded to address treatment objectives for all <br /> compounds which may exceed background or upgradient concentrations in the <br /> receiving waters (refer to Comment 2 above) .
