specified in conditions III.D.1 through III.D.4. [40 CFR 264.15 and <br /> 264.174] <br /> In performing inspections of the facility, the Permittee shall: <br /> 1. Inspect the construction materials of, and the area immediately <br /> surrounding containment structures of all container storage areas <br /> and receiving areas at least once each operating day to detect <br /> obvious signs of leakage; 140 CFH 264.15(a) and 264.1743 <br /> 2. Inspect the container storage area at least weekly for leaking <br /> containers; [40 CFR 264.174] <br /> 3. Remedy any deterioration or malfunction of equipment or <br /> structures discovered by any inspection; and [40 CFR 264.15(c) ] <br /> 4. Document in the operating record results of all inspections <br /> performed, and all remedial actions taken. [40 CFR 264.15(d) and <br /> 264.195(d) ] <br /> E. PERSONNEL TRAINING <br /> Unless otherwise specifically stated elsewhere in this Permit, the <br /> Permittee shall conduct personnel training provisions described in <br /> Section IX.A of the Part B Application as required by 40 CFR 264.16. <br /> The Permittee shall maintain training documents and records as <br /> required by 40 CFR 264.16(d) and (e) . [40 CFR 264.16] <br /> 1. The Permittee shall ensure that facility personnel who perform <br /> hazardous waste management activities have successfully completed <br /> the training program within six months after the date of their <br /> employment or assignment to the facility, or to a new position at <br /> the facility, whichever is later. Employees hired after the <br /> effective date of this Permit shall not work in unsupervised <br /> positions until they have completed these training requirements. <br /> [40 CFR 264.16(b)] <br /> 2. The Permittee shall ensure that facility personnel shall take <br /> part in an annual review of the required training. [40 CFR <br /> 264.16(c)] <br /> F. MANAGEMENT OF IGNITABLE, REACTIVE OR INCOMPATIBLE PASTES <br /> The Permittee shall manage ignitable, reactive and incompatible <br /> wastes as specified in Sections V and VIII of the Part B Application <br /> and as' required by 40 CFR 264.17. [40 CFR 264.17] <br /> G. PREPAREDNESS AND PREVENTION - <br /> 1. Required Equipment <br /> a. The Permittee shall have available at the facility all the <br /> required safety and emergency equipment as described in <br /> 19 <br />
