CORRECTIVE ACTIONS FOR CONTINUING RELEASES <br /> 1. Section 3004(u) of RCRA (Section 206 of the Hazardous and Solid <br /> Waste Amendments of 1984) and regulations promulgated as 40 CFR <br /> 264.101, require corrective action as necessary to protect human <br /> health and the environment for all releases of hazardous waste or <br /> constituents from any Solid Waste Management Unit (SWMU) , <br /> regardless of when the waste was placed in the unit, for all <br /> permits issued after November 8, 1984. <br /> 2. Corrective actions for releases from SVMUs requiring further <br /> investigation as identified in the RIB and Part V.A. of this <br /> Permit, shall be investigated under Comprehensive Environmental <br /> Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA) authority in <br /> accordance with the Federal Facility Agreement for Defense <br /> Distribution Region West--Sharpe Site (FFA) .
