Meetings with Regulatory Agencies: <br /> (1) 20 August 1992 - Project Managers Meeting at California <br /> Department of Toxic Substances Control Office. <br /> (2) 29-30 September 1992 - Project Managers Meeting at DDRW Sharpe <br /> Facility, Building 330. <br /> c. Other RI/FS Activities: <br /> (1) August-September 1992 - Performed long-term injection test to <br /> determine operation and maintenance requirement of system and effect on <br /> groundwater level. <br /> (2) Sampling and analysis contract with QAL was modified to add <br /> testing for additional metals and PCB in the influent and effluent of both <br /> groundwater treatment systems and selected monitoring wells. Wells which <br /> consistently have BTXE contaminants (EPA Method 602) will be tested <br /> quarterly. <br /> 5. REMEDIAL, REMOVAL, AND INVESTIGATION ACTIVITIES: Remedial and/or removal <br /> activities. <br /> a. The North and South Balloon Groundwater Treatment Systems continued <br /> to operate during this report period. More details on the operation of the <br /> system are included in the monthly NPDES Report. <br /> b. The performance of the groundwater treatment system is evaluated and <br /> discussed in Section 2C, Water Elevation/Contaminant Contour Maps and <br /> Analysis. <br /> 6. REMEDIAL REMOVAL, AND INVESTIGATION ACTIVITIES: Other Activities <br /> a. 19 August 1992 - DDRW, Huntsville Division Corps of Engineers <br /> (CEHND) , and Sacramento District Corps of Engineers (CESAC) met in Sacramento <br /> to discuss the tasking of Sacramento District to remediate the sites where <br /> fuel tanks were removed and contamination remains. <br />
