a <br /> logic for selection of protective measures to be implemented during facility <br /> construction/operation. The "Safety, Health and Emergency Response" section <br /> of the detailed specifications which delineates the minimum safety and health <br /> requirements to which the construction/operation contractor shall adhere shall <br /> be fully developed from the HSP and shall reflect all site specific, task <br /> specific, and hazard specific procedures, precautions and equipment as deter- <br /> mined necessary as clearly biddable and enforceable contractual requirements. <br /> The AE shall utilize the services of a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) <br /> experienced in hazardous waste site operations to oversee development and im- <br /> plementation of the health and safety documents required by this SOW. The <br /> documents shall be signed and dated by the CIH prior to submittal. The AE <br /> shall submit versions of this document in accordance with the requirements of <br /> Section 4.0 and the schedule provided in Section 5.0 of this SOW. <br /> 3.7 (Task 11)-Remedial Action Work Plan The AE shall prepare and sub- <br /> mit a remedial action work plan as described in paragraph 5.1.1 of reference <br /> 10.14 which includes, but is not limited to, written plans and schedules for <br /> the implementation of all remedial action tasks. The Plan shall address, as a <br /> minimum, the following items: <br /> a. Tentative formulation of the remedial action team; <br /> b. Description of the roles and relationships of the RA Team; <br /> C. Process for selection of the remedial action Constructor; <br /> d. Schedule for the RA and the process to update the schedule; <br /> e. Method to implement the various plans developed under the Remedial <br /> Design phase of the work; <br /> f. Procedure for data collection to validate project completion; <br /> g. Requirements for project closeout. <br /> The AE shall submit versions of this document in accordance with the require- <br /> ments of Section 4.0 and the schedule provided in Section 5.0 of this SOW. <br /> 3.8 (Task 121-Service Contract Document The AE shall, under this <br /> Task, prepare a services contract document (Section C, Work Statement) which <br /> contractually describes how the eventual remedial action contractor will in- <br /> stall and operate the implemented remedial system in accordance with the con- <br /> struction plans and specifications and the work plans prepared by the AE. <br /> Therefore, it is necessary for the AE to prepare a detailed description of the <br /> construction, operation and maintenance and evaluation services which the <br /> operating contractor must perform, or otherwise provide for, over the life of <br /> AA-7 <br />
