Ripon Unified School District
a. General site layout
All Fuel Oil products on Ripon Unified School District's site are properly stored and used in a
safe manner. All of the Motor Fuel is contained within the Double Wall concrete/steel fuel tanks.
No release is expected from this system. No discharge of Fuel Oil products release is expected and
great care is taken to prevent such a release. The motor fuel containment and dispensing area is
located on the near each tank of the facility operations. The Fuel Storage Tank's containment
system is constructed from concrete and no product release is expected to reach the ground or
water systems. The Gasoline fuel tank is equipped with fill adapter and vapor recovery. Care is
taken when loading fuel into the Gasoline and#2 Diesel fuel tanks.
b. Buried piping installation, protection and examination procedures
Ripon Unified School District has no buried tanks or piping on site.
c. Pipe support design
The piping supports on Ripon Unified School District Fuel operations are used in the transfer
of Fuels throughout the system. All of the piping is rigid and the supports are used to secure the
transfer lines.
d. Official inspections of the system and its operation will be performed monthly and
recorded on the forms found in Appendix B & C in the SPCC plan.
e. Aboveground piping protection from vehicular traffic
All aboveground piping and transfer systems are and will always be protected from vehicular
traffic.
